A talk by Brain Ward on the History of Market Rasen Railway Station and how it’s arrival had an impact on the town.

April
RHS members and guests spent the day in Alford, lunch and shopping. Followed by a guided tour of the Alford Manor House and grounds. We finished the day with afternoon tea.
May
As part of the month of events on Crime, Law and Order. Ron Fanthorpe entertained the RHS members with a talk on Crime and how it effected his family. There was an exhibition in the Library on Crime in Fiction and one in OPS on Crime, Law and Order with tour of the old cells.

June
Caistor and Market Rasen trades and shops exhibition in Caistor Arts and Heritage Centre. RHS members provided the research on the Market Rasen trades and shops of old.
July
A talk by RHS member Caroline Foster on the Battle of The Somme and the men from Market Rasen. There was a short service of Remembrance and a collection for the British Legion.

August
RHS members and guests were invited to have a guided tour of Caistor.
October
Charlie Atkinson came to show the members all the wonderful items he and his friends had found using a detector.

December
Tom Lane and friends enlightened the members on Lincolnshire Christmas Customs using pictures, music and song. With seasonal refreshments.
