Dr Dudley Francis TORRENS
He was born 1884 in Ireland, Died 1965 in Lincoln. 1911 listed at 10 Chapel Street

Partnership with Dr Shegog started sometime between 1926 and 1930
1937 Kelly’s Torrens & Shegog, physicians & surgeons, 34 King Street. Above list for 1942 includes his son Dr Desmond John Dudley Torrens. His mother was called Kathleen.
Lived with his sister Nora Torrens.

Dr Frederick William SHEGOG
He was born in Dublin on 18 th December 1897, his father died when he was two. His mother remarried and in 1911, he is living with her and step-father in Dublin.
1916 he is registered as a student in Dublin, Frederick qualified as a Doctor in 1920.
1927, Frederick married Madge Jaquest in Luton, they moved to Market Rasen.
Dr Shegog joins Dr Dudley Torrens ( another Irishman) in partnership. see next section for more details.
Dr Harold SCOTT
Harold Scott was born in Cork in 1914. He qualified in 1947 in Dublin. Harold married Inga Rose in 1948 and they moved to Market Rasen.
Dr Scott joined Dr Shegog when Dr Torren retired.
1959 he is listed at Brooklyn, Willingham Road. When Dr Shegog retired he was joined by Dr Parry.
1979, Dr Scott retired in 1979 and died in 1995.
Dr Graham PARRY
Dr Graham Parry was born in Burma in 1939. He qualified in 1965 and arrived in market Rasen in 1969.
He worked with Dr Scott in the Surgery in King Street, as did both their wives (Receptions).
1970, they moved into the new premises at the bottom of Gordon Field. Dr Scott retired in 1979.
In 1991, the practice moved to the new surgery in Mill Road. Dr Parry was also the Race course Doctor.
1999, he retired and he and his wife Chris moved to the old watermill in Middle Rasen.
He left behind a practice with 5 doctors and 8,000 patients.

Dr Graham Parry died in 2020.
