After the Auction

After the auction members of the public donated items to us, we also purchased items at auction and on the internet. The total number is now over 1000+ and still growing.

Some of the items from the Society’s collection are displayed in the town at the WLDC offices, the Doctors Surgery, Jossals Restaurant, Market Rasen Library, Rasen Hub and in the Court Room at Old Police Station.

As there is still no sign of a heritage centre for the town in the foreseeable future, the Society is also exploring the possibility of developing a virtual museum to allow access to the Society’s collection.
